Electric motorbike brand Super Soco has officially launched its new 25mph CU mini electric scooter.
The brand unveiled the entry level electric scooter last year at the Motorcycle Live event at the NEC in Birmingham.
Super Soco says that its new model ‘provides a realistic and affordable alternative to e-bikes and e-scooters for urban mobility’.
The CU mini is a lightweight electric scooter powered by a 600-watt motor, offering a top speed of 25mph and 25 miles of range between charges.
It has a removable lithium-ion battery weighing just 7kg, which can be charged using a domestic three-pin socket.
It has a host of useful features including a twist and go throttle, keyless ignition and if you download the Super Soco app you can track the bike in real time.
After the 20% Government discount through the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles Funding (OZEF) grant, the electric scooter costs £1499.
The CU mini is AM licence compliant and can be ridden with a valid CBT or by anyone with a car licence prior to 2001.
