The Deus Vayanne hyper EV has been revealed at this year’s New York Motor show.
Last month the Austrian firm released a number of teaser images previewing the Vayanne EV, which has now been released in near production form.
Deus says the Vayanne is the result of a three-way collaboration, having partnered with Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE) to build the brand’s first electric hypercar, which is limited to just 99 units.
The new hyper EV uses a platform developed and built by Italdesign and WAE. In April 2021, the two firms partnered to develop and build high performance, flexible EV platforms for manufacturers, supporting a long-term vision for EV architecture.

Deus predicts its forthcoming Vayanne will have a peak power output of 1640kW, which the car maker claims will make the new hyper EV the first electric vehicle to cross over the 2200bhp mark. With 1475lb ft of torque, Deus claims the Vayanne will achieve a 0-62mph time of just under 1.99secs.
The Vienna-based car firm has not yet revealed the battery capacity of its new EV. As such, range figures also remain under wraps.
“We are really satisfied with the results achieved with the Vayanne, in this first phase of our collaboration with Deus,” said Marco Volpengo, Italdesign head of automotive business development Europe.

Deus says the Vayanne will come with usable storage space, combining practically with performance to become what the firm says is "a master of versatility".
On the outside the Vayanne’s front and rear grilles have been design to represent the infinity loop, with Adrian-Filip Butuca, head of design at Deus, stating that the firm wanted to stylise the Vayanne "around the idea of symmetry and geometric alignment".
By basing the Vayanne’s design around the infinity loop, the firm says it has still been able to meet its aerodynamic and cooling requirements.
Inside the new EV, Deus says it has focused on implementing physical controls that are easy to use so that the driver is able to focus on driving.
The natural leather upholstered seats were made using sustainable processes in a bid to avoid waste, while Deus has also added a configurable Active Sound system to "further enhance the driving experience".
Deus plans to deliver the first models by in 2025, but has not yet revealed the price of the Vayanne.
