American firm Tropos Motors has unveiled its new compact electric utility vehicle - the ever-so-cute ABLE NXT built for last-mile deliveries.
The California-based manufacturer currently offers a number of compact commercial vehicles and has already deployed over 1,000 ABLE ST, XT & XR light utility electric vehicles globally.
The new small utility vehicle features a 33kWh battery pack which offers a range of up to 190 miles and a top speed of 55mph.
Tropos says the ABLE NXT’s drivetrain is “ultra” efficient, and can achieve five miles per kilowatt of energy.
The ABLE NXT has a modular structure, which the firm says allows for “easy and cost-effective customisation”, enabling the vehicle to be tailored to last-mile delivery, facility maintenance, warehousing and even as an emergency vehicle.
Torpos has also added its Easy Swap feature, which allows users to charge the cargo options on the back of the ABLE NXT in just 60 seconds.
Tropos’s new utility vehicle will be made in Europe and assembled in the US.
The new ABLE NXT model to debut at this year’s Advanced Clean Transportation Show in Long Beach.
