Pricing and specification details for the new all-electric Genesis Electrified GV70 have been revealed, with the firm’s third electric production car starting from £64,405.
The electric version of the existing BMW iX3 and Jaguar I-Pace rival is the third EV that the Korean brand has launched in 2022, following the smaller Genesis GV60 and the range-topping Electrified G80 saloon.
While Genesis has launched in the UK with a range of petrol and electric machines, it will only launch full electric models in the UK and Europe from 2025 onwards, and by 2030 it will be an EV-only brand.

The Electrified GV70 SUV will be a key part of that switch. It was first shown at the Guangzhou International Auto Exhibition in China last year, but since you probably didn’t see it there, this will be the first chance for UK car buyers to get an up-close look.
As standard the electric GV70 gets a 14.5 inch infotainment display, an off-road E-Terrain mode and electric suspension.
The premium SUV has LED mood lighting and leather upholstered seats, with Genesis using an “extensive use of high grade materials” in the cabin.
Genesis also offers several option packages for buyers to choose from. Among these extras are advanced driver aids, including a semi-autonomous driving mode and remote parking function.
As with the Electrified G80, the styling of the Electrified GV70 will remain close to the combustion-engined version, albeit with a special panel replacing the radiator grille and some bespoke trim.

The premium SUV is equipped with a 77.4kWh battery that gives an official range of up to 283 miles. It has an all-wheel-drive set-up, with a total power output of 360kW, while being able to achieve a 0-62mph time of just 4.2 seconds.
Using a rapid 350kW device, the battery can be charged from 10-80% in 18 minutes.
