Every electric vehicle you can still get a government grant for

The government has axed the plug-in car grant that gave a discount of £1500 on the price of new zero-emission vehicles that cost less than £32,000 – but it is still offering grants to reduce the price of several other vehicle types.

There are eight vehicle classes that are still eligible for grants: wheelchair accessible vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, small vans, large vans, taxis, small trucks and large trucks. Each class has separate rules and differing grants, and only government-approved vehicles in each category are eligible.

So here’s what’s included in each. The following information was taken from the Government website, and was correct at time of press.
