The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will make its official debut next week with the firm teasing the cars design in a number of concept sketches.
It will be Hyundai’s second offering to use its innovative E-GMP electric platform and will take the form of a sweeping saloon to rival the likes of the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2.
The concept sketches depict the Ioniq 6’s unique and streamlined silhouette, with the cars final design inspired by the company’s Prophecy concept EV.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the date for the car’s launch but confirmed it will fully unveil both exterior and interior designs of the Ioniq 6 later this month.
The new saloon’s styling will be distinct from the retro-inspired Ioniq 5. We expect the new Ioniq 6 to be equipped with a 77.4kWh battery which should deliver a solid range figure.
