Leading high-power electric car charging provider Ionity has agreed a new partnership with &Charge to improve its charging service through direct customer feedback.
The charging provider says that through &Charge’s e-mobility app, EV drivers will be able to rate their charging experience using an Ionity device.
Ionity has around 90 charging points in the UK in more than 18 locations across the country. Its charging sites have several high-power chargers per location, offering speeds of up to 350kW.

The firm says that by allowing customers to offer feedback, they ‘become part of the quality assurance process’, and help to improve the EV charging process.
In a bid to draw in more feedback, Ionity and &Charge will reward EV owners with &Charge kilometres (1 &Charge km is equal to €0.08) which can be redeemed immediately for free charging or other rewards.
More than 500 customers have already submitted feedback on their Ionity experience using the &Charge app.
"The collaboration with &Charge is an important component of our quality assurance,” said Frank Plaschka, head of Marketing, Brand & Communications at Ionity.
“The crowd-source approach of &Charge helps us to intensify the relationship with our customers across borders and to benefit from the daily experiences of the community,"

The partnership currently allows EV owners from the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Spain and Italy to give feedback.
Ionity says that preparations are being made to roll out the &Charge application in more countries.
