Everrati expands electromod offering with Porsche 911 Cabriolet

5 Oct 2022

Everrati, the engineering firm that specialises in electrifying classic cars, will expand its line-up of restomods with a new Porsche 911 Cabriolet, with the firm claiming it to be the first of its kind in the world.

The electromod firm restores and electrifies a range of iconic models, from the Land Rover Series IIA, to the Ford GT40 and already offers a number of electrified 911’s.

Equipped with Everrati’s own performance electric powertrain, the new wide body Porsche 911 (964) cabriolet has been designed to combine ‘open-top zero-emission motorign with iconic design’.

Everrati’s latest EV is offered with either 328kW or 373kW of power, with the latter option capable of a sub four-second sprint from 0-60mph. With a 62kWh battery, the electrified Porsche can travel up to 200 miles on a single charge.

The Oxfordshire-based outfit says it has ‘worked meticulously’ to maintain the original character of the 964-generation 911 Cabriolet by optimising weight distribution, chassis response and performance enhancements.

As an optional extra, customers can also add fully adjustable TracTive suspension, allowing owners to tailor the car to their specific driving-style.

The electrified 911 has been developed in partnership with Aria Group, the US engineering firm which specialises in low-volume, high end vehicles.

Earlier this year the two firm’s collaborated to scale up the production of Everrati 911’s in the US due to its rising demand.

Everratti founder and CEO Justin Lunny commented, “Everrati prides itself on enhancing the original ‘feel’ and character of iconic cars, and the pure open-top driving experience of the 964 Cabriolet, now combined with state-of-the-art EV power, means our customers can enjoy convertible thrills in truly sustainable, 21-century style.

“Arriving at a time where demand for our electrified classics has never been higher, the 964 Cabriolet will form a key part of our product offering as we further ramp up global production in partnership with Aria Group.”

The firm is yet to reveal the price of its latest model, but we expect it to command a slight premium on the Everrati 911 Signature which starts from £270,000.
