The Vauxhall Movano-e and Citroen ë-Relay electric vans have been updated with a new larger battery that increases their official range to 154 miles.
The two models from the two Stellantis sister brands, which are mechanically identical, have previously been offered with a 70kWh battery, with the ë-Relay also offered with a smaller 37kWh unit.
The 70kWh battery had an official WLTP range of 139 miles, meaning the new version offers an extra 15 miles of range. The pricing for both remains unchanged from previously, starting from £57,035 for the 3.5-tonne shorter wheelbase ë-Relay and £57,913 for the Movano-e L3, both including the £5000 plug-in van grant.
The machine retains a XX120hp electric motor with XX260NM of torque, with up to 15m3 of load space and a maximum payload of 1100kg. Charging can now be done at up to 22kW on an AC charger and 50kW on a DC unit
The current 37kWh ë-Relay, which has an official range of 73 miles, will remain on sale, starting from £51,285 for the 3.5-tonne version.
The 75kWh battery is also offered on the 4-tonne ë-Relay 40 in both van and window van version. Citroen says that reduced component costs means that it has been able to cut the price of that model by £8770, with machines now starting from £61,535.
Deliveries of the new 75kWh model of both the Monavo-e and ë-Relay are due to begin in the third quarter of 2022.
