The upcoming ESkootr championship will be shown live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport digital platforms this year.
Starting on the 13-14 May at Printworks London, the ESkootr (ESC) race series will feature 30 riders from ten different teams battling it out on a tight street circuits while riding identical 60mph+ e-scooters.
All of the action from each race will be available to watch on the BBC, with the broadcaster showing live coverage of the Saturday evening final.

ESkootr Championship: how the new e-scooter racing series aims to improve road safety
ESC says the racing format will make for "exhilarating television viewing, with creative camera angles and production techniques".
The BBC will use the ESkootr championship's own programme, created by Canadian firm Boombox, which will include a pre-race build-up, live commentary and post race interviews, as well as highlights and analysis.
“We want the Championship to be accessible and working with the BBC will ensure the widest possible audience has the opportunity to see the sport,” said ESkootr’s chief content officer Sharon Fuller.
“We can’t wait to give fans their first taste of eSC and introduce them to our new form of racing. It is going to be fast, competitive and unpredictable, with innovative TV production taking viewers right into the heart of the action”
