Just in time for the summer, Dutch company Veloretti has launched two new electric bikes as part of the Veloretti Electric Two. The models are called Ivy and Ace. The Ivy comes in a step-through frame, while the Ace is a step-over. Both are sleek looking e-bikes, with high-quality components. Let’s take a look at what’s on offer.
-
The Ivy and Ace e-bikes are part of Veloretti’s next generation bikes. They use Bafang mid-drive motors, 540Wh batteries for plenty of range, and a Gates carbon belt drive paired with Enviolo gear hubs.
-
A clean, minimalist design is prominent with these two bikes. Integrated cables lights built into the frame and a new colour option (Dune) bring new life to the brand and their e-bike range.
-
Using the bikes with the Veloretti app means you can take advantage of new smart technology features such as activity tracking. With the new bikes, riders can also take advantage of ‘Safety Tracking’ feature which sends real-time updates to pre-determined contacts.
-
The new built-in display tracks data like cadence, speed, and you can change settings for things like the lights, as well as visualising GPS navigation. To operate, there are buttons on the handlebar so you don’t need to remove your hands from the bars to operate the screen.
-
Integrated lights have been retained for the Electric Two, although a new Osram® LED precision light is also included. Additionally, an “in-house engineered” rear brake light is included.
-
The bikes have already been awarded the 2023 Red Dot Award for product design in Germany. In terms of colourways, the Ivy is available in Matte Black, Graphite, Dune and Pebble Grey, and the Ace in Matte Black, Graphite, Dune and Jet Black.
-
Veloretti’s founder, Ferry Zonder had this to say about the Electric Two.
“Our riders are at the centre of our design philosophy, and we spent two years engineering the Veloretti Electric Two with all-new features that truly matter. By combining high-end technology with design simplicity, I’m excited to say we’ve set a new industry standard. It really goes beyond what I imagined when I started designing bikes eleven years ago.”
-
If you happen to be in Europe and want to book a test ride, they will be taking bookings in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Munich.
-
There are no plans for the bikes to be made available to customers in the UK, but Veloretti does export children’s bikes. If you’re in Europe, the Veloretti Electric Two will launch in June at a price of €3299.
