Sussex-based bike company Cairn Cycles has launched a new version of its popular electric gravel bike, the E-Adventure Limited Rambler Edition.
Inspired by the bicycle’s practicalities in getting you to places that cars or trains don’t, the brand has introduced several upgrades to the popular E-Adventure that we’ve previously reviewed.

The new model features an all-new geometry designed to offer greater off-road stability with lower, slacker and longer measurements, Cairn suggests this “brings the rider more control without losing the lively and responsive feel riders loved from the original E-Adventure bike.”
At a lower weight of 14.3kg for the medium frame, the Rambler Edition bridges the gap further between unassisted and electric gravel bikes. While it might not be light enough to sling over your shoulder and go on some serious hike-a-bike, it’s certainly a step in the right direction.
The new bikes will initially be launched in a limited run and equipped with 13-speed Campagnolo Ekar gravel groupsets, Hunt X Cairn E-Gravel Disc Wheels, and the updated Fazua Ride 50 drive system. This system will also be offered with the Range Extension pack, which provides riders with the option to carry multiple batteries for longer adventures.

Additionally, for the first time the frame will be compatible with suspension forks so if you fancy sticking some RockShox on there and combining cycling disciplines even further, you can do.
It’s evident Cairn Cycles has been listening to feedback on the previous model: they’re also offering a smaller size in this edition, XS which bodes well for the shorter riders among us.
Pre-orders are able to be made now ready for an estimated December 2022 delivery, and the bike will be available for a price of £4289 on the Cairn Cycles website.
