Everrati expands electromod line-up with Range Rover and Defender models

16 Dec 2022

Leading electromod specialist Everrati is to expand its line-up of models with zero-emission versions of the Range Rover Classic and Land Rover Defender.

Based in Oxfordshire, Everrati specialises in electrifying iconic classic cars, from the Porsche 911 Cabriolet to the Ford GT40.

Everrati says after the successful launch of its electric Land Rover Series IIA, the firm is aiming to “lead the charge as the international creator of dream-car electrification” by electrifying the 1970s three-door Range Rover and Land Rover Defender.

Both vehicles will be transformed into electric cars using Everrati’s own OEM-grade electric powertrain which has been designed and developed in the UK.

Everrati is yet to reveal the technical details of the converted Range Rover and Defender models, but it is likely that they will use the firm’s 62kWh battery offering a range of between 150 and 200 miles.

The firm added that it will “stay true to the timeless quality of the vehicles” while upgrading the powertrain to offer improved performance over the original combustion engine.

Everrati will use sustainably sourced materials, citing that its new models will use the world’s lowest carbon leather from manufacturer, Bridge of Weir.

“These vehicles set new standards at launch - we will do the same again with our advanced technology, as we transform these icons, enabling them to live on in the age of electrification,” said Everrati founder and CEO, Justin Lunny.

“Perfectly at home in London, Cornwall, Monterey or The Hamptons, these vehicles are right in the current zeitgeist; rolling pieces of art that will give their owners, who are mavens of sustainability and responsibility, a clean and distinctive and luxurious way of travelling.

The Range Rover Classic will cost from £230,000 and the donor vehicles, while the Land Rover Defender is slightly cheaper, starting at £185,000 with a donor vehicle.
